Gibbs Smith’s mission as a Certified B Corp is to create books, online programs, and gift products to educate, enrich, and inspire people about the world around them in accessible, inclusive, equitable, and sustainable ways. Gibbs Smith and Gibbs Smith Education have participated in our home county’s pride event, Davis County Pride, for several years as a part of this mission.
This year, Gibbs Smith Education’s curriculum team developed a booklet to engage community members when they visited our booth. In addition to perusing our latest bestsellers and participating in our spin-the-wheel giveaways, Pride attendees were able to color and complete Gibbs Smith Education’s “My Pride, My Place” mini-journal, meant to give participants a way to explore and highlight their strengths and the qualities that make each person a unique and valued member of our community. We’re excited to share that booklet with you here, so that you, too, can be reminded of your value, exactly as you are.
